Dear Health Conscious Reader,
As an acupuncturist and nutritional consultant, I am passionate about helping people transform their health so that they can lead the life they were truly meant to lead.
Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, I had a successful career in the motion picture industry. For almost twenty years I worked on such films as “Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Alive, and Three Men and a Little Lady.” The long, demanding hours and high stress of the film industry combined with poor nutritional habits, began to have a negative effect on my health. After a less than stellar blood test, followed by a good cry, I decided I needed to make some changes. This experience, along with a long held desire to do something more meaningful for others and the world, lead me to enroll in the Master’s Program at Emperor’s College of Oriental Medicine.
I graduated from Emperor’s, Summa Cum Laude, and have been working in a clinical and private setting since 2002 in Redondo Beach California and now in Marin County. In addition to treating patients through Traditional and Esoteric Acupuncture and Nutritional Counseling, I also enjoy speaking publicly on the benefits of Holistic Health, Acupuncture, Nutrition, Weight Loss and a variety of other health topics.
As a volunteer, my great love for animals and their well-being has led me to focus my efforts on animal rescue and rehabilitation. Currently, six companion animals allow my husband and I to live with them in Marin County.
My goal is to save the world, one animal and one person at a time. |
